April 11, 2020

jenny-campbell

The strongest call from this hui for me was the message we as kin are called to be peacemakers, co- creators with God and that loving leaders are a very powerful thing. A reflection on 2019 Hui by Jenny Campbell He iti he pounamuIt may be small but it is very precious Renewing friendships and forming new relationships was  a highlight for me as women shared from their strengths and vulnerabilities. Sisterhood of Love

April 10, 2020

Nesi Val Bolivia in Tonga

It was an experience of camaraderie and ‘Sisterhood’, when the AWSC Pasefika Tikanga met in the Kingdom of Tonga from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th November 2019. Revd Sonja Hunter writes... There were seventeen (17) representatives from the Island Nations of Fiji, New Zealand, Samoa and the Kingdom of Tonga. Wisdom from members

The Hui for me was so special, as it reminded me of why our role is special within our Church, Communities and especially our families. I was reminded of the importance of our calling as women to “mother” “nurture” and “recognize” the journey or paths that we must take.
