Sue Paton has recently immigrated to New Zealand from South Africa.

She is an Anglican priest interested in the promotion of a relevant, contemporary spiritual practise.

She is currently the Chaplain to Whanganui Collegiate and St George’s schools

where she produces regular Anglican services for the students and staff.

She undertook a research master’s degree in Theology and Development in the topic of ecofeminist theology.

She argued that a liberating ecofeminist spirituality was emerging

through a group of rural women dedicated to producing large community pieces of embroidery art.

Her undergraduate degree was in Fine Art which she still loves and continues to practise.
