KAHUI WAHINE Kahui Wahine are women and lay-leaders in Te Pihopatanga o Te Tairawhiti who hui together to maintain whanaungatanga and training opportunies through regular local hui, and attendance at the National Kahui Wahine conferences held bi-ennially. Key activities include fund-raising and advocacy for womens representation, social justice, and children's ministry. Applications close 30 Sept. Lay and ordained women and men are invited to apply for scholarships. The St John's College Trust Board provides scholarships to Ordained Clergy, Candidates for Ordination and Lay Members of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia pursuant to the provisions of section 7 and section 3(1)(c) of the St John's College Trusts Act 1972. Applications are able to be submitted twice a year, with deadlines for submission being the 30th of September and the 31st of March each year. Celebrating our three tikanga richness as we move forward AWSC Council and Links gathered for two very interesting days of sharing experience, leadership training, theological reflection, personal growth, and local facilitation. The setting was the hospitable St Francis Retreat Centre, in Hillsborough, Auckland, right beside the beautiful old Pah homestead and Monte Cecilia Park.
